南海西沙群岛西科1井第四纪有孔虫及其沉积环境

摘要(Abstract):

有孔虫是重要的附礁生物,在划分礁相地层、分析古环境演变以及探讨生物礁建造意义重大。位于西沙群岛的西科1 (XK-1)井,取芯率极高,是研究该区第四纪礁相地层的理想窗口。在西科1井0.10~218.16 m井段取岩芯样品76件,共识别出有孔虫55属110种,其中底栖有孔虫48属90种,浮游有孔虫7属20种。底栖有孔虫数量占优,以玻璃质壳和瓷质壳种类为主。浮游有孔虫含量少,主要在22.30 m以内出现较多。根据有孔虫动物群的丰度、简单分异度及特征属种的分布,井段0.10~218.16 m可划分和识别出3个有孔虫组合(FA),结合珊瑚、钙藻和钙质超微化石的面貌讨论其相应的沉积环境:FA1组合(213.15~95.30 m),礁骨架环境;FA2组合(95.30~22.30 m),礁骨架-礁顶环境; FA3组合(22.30~0.10 m),礁后外侧滩环境。总体上西科1井第四纪由老到新表现为先水动力逐渐增强,水体逐渐变浅,之后在顶部其水动力显著减弱,水体加深。
Foraminifera are important reef-attached organisms, which are of great significance in subdividing reef facies, analyzing paleoenvironmental evolution, and exploring reef construction. Well XK-1 located in the Xisha Islands, with a rather high recovery rate, provides ideal material for studying the Quaternary reef strata in this area.Abundant foraminifera have been recovered from 76 core samples in the interval of 0.10~218.16 m. The assemblage contains 110 species belonging to 55 genera, including 48 genera and 90 species of benthic foraminifers, and 20 species of planktic foraminifers in 7 genera. Benthic foraminifers dominate the assemblage, with calcareous and porcelain shells as the main species, and the content of planktonic foraminifera is low, mainly appearing within upper 22.30 m. Based on the abundance, diversity and distribution of characteristic genera and species, three foraminiferal assemblages(FAs)can be subdivided in 0.10~218.16 m, and their corresponding depositional environments are discussed in relation to the appearance of corals, calcareous algae and calcareous nannofossils. From bottom to top, they are: FA1 assemblage(213.15~95.30 m), reef core faces; FA2 assemblage(95.30~22.30 m), reef core to reef crest faces; FA3 assemblage(22.30~0.10 m), outer backreef beach faces. In general, the Quaternary of Well XK-1 upward shows a gradual increase in hydrodynamics and a gradual shallowing water, followed by a significant weakening of its hydrodynamics and deepening water at the top.
